Annie has written articles and book reviews for therapy publications (Therapy Weekly and Remedial Therapy) on a variety of clinical and managerial topics relating to adult neurological disorders, dysphasia, dysarthria, dysphagia and dementia. She also independently published the Dysphasia/Dementia Screening Test (1984)

She has also published weekly in the Health and social care press ( Doctor, Medieconomics, Primary Care Manager, Pulse, the Heath Service Journal) , on issues relating to NHS management: risk management, audit, funding, business planning, appraisal etc.

Annie is currently working on a book for speech and language therapists on programmes to support children with speech sound problems.
